We've worked hard to create a clear and solid structure for success. Below is all the info you should need to help understand the expectations and commitment to Mater Dei Lacrosse!
Players will email me their grades every 2 weeks. Players with D's or F's will use practice time to focus on their studies and will be held out of games until grades improve.
Players are expected to attend all practices. Appointments should be made outside practice
time, including academic appointments with teachers.
Practice - MDLAX Reversible and MDLAX issued shorts and undershirt
Game Day (In School) - MDLAX team issued polo shirts (NO VANS!)
Game Day (After School) - MDLAX game shorts, assigned game day undershirt, game socks (NO VANS!)
All players must take the bus to and from the game with the team.
Please have your sons communicate with the coaches directly about conflicts. injuries, areas
of improvement, play time questions, etc. Any other questions should be directed towards the
related topic's assigned point of contact volunteer.
All parents are encouraged to help out in some way whether that be in a large or small capacity. Every little bit helps and allows for a closer family atmosphere within the program.
PARENT GAME DAY PROTOCOL
NO NEGATIVITY - Please refrain negative grumbling about players, parents, officIals and coaches. "Stop grumbling among yourselves" - Jesus Christ (John 6:43 NIV)
Parent Sideline - Unless volunteering at the score table, all parents must remain on parent sideline.
Complaints - Please have your son address any complaints first after the game or the following day. We ask parents not approach us following games and make an appointment to speak with us the following day.
If you have questions or concerns or just need to update the coaches on info about your athlete, call or email below and we will get back to you as quickly as we can! Thank you!
